Mother's Day isn't one day. The US, Canada, Germany and Italy share the second Sunday in May, but the UK keeps Mothering Sunday in Lent, Spain the first Sunday in May, France the end of May and Argentina October. If your mum lives abroad, her date is the one that counts.
